Nick Harrison is Head of Evidence at the Centre for Excellence in Sustainable Communities in the South West of the England. Leading on socio-economic research and intelligence, he recently coordinated a pilot project for the UK Office of the Deputy Prime Minister championing the use of evidence in the local delivery of regeneration and development.
Prior to joining Creating Excellence, Nick managed regeneration policy research & evaluation for the City of Bristol and led research for the Investor Relations Society Awards in the City of London. He previously worked as a press officer for the Centre for Alternative Technology and for eight years authored a quarterly news feature about renewable energy and sustainable development for an international journal. He is a founding trustee of Transition Bristol.
Nick has a BSc Psychology and an MSc. Organisational Psychology from City University, London. Throughout 2007 Nick has been training in Leadership for Sustainable Development with LEAD International.
